The Backyard – our Children’s Ministry – is where we love Jesus and love kids! You’ll find a safe, fun, and welcoming place for all kids to learn, grow, and play. Come see what a difference Jesus can make! Sunday School WONDERLAND (BIRTH – KINDERGARTEN) Classes meet at 9:15am and 11am. Infants and toddlers alike feel loved and cared for in our clean, well staffed nursery area. They learn that God loves them and that they are special. Babies in the infant nursery can play, rock, sleep, etc. Toddlers participate in age-appropriate activities, Bible stories, singing and prayer, and snack time. Early Childhood age children (3 years through Kindergarten) will experience age-appropriate Bible teaching and active learning, worship through singing and prayer, crafts and snack time. DISCIPLELAND (1ST – 5TH GRADE) At 9:15am, our grade school children build a firm foundation as they are taught the Word of God through Bible study and appropriate applications for their daily living. We give them opportunities to accept Jesus as their personal Savior and teach them early to depend upon the Holy Spirit to give direction to their lives. At 11am, our Discipleland children gather together for Club3:16, where they focus on what it means to truly be worshipers of God through activities that will expand their knowledge of how God wants us to honor him. VISIT THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY WELCOME CENTER IN THE LOWER LEVEL ATRIUM FOR FIRST-TIME CHECK-IN. Awana Clubs Each Wednesday evening (September – May), children in preschool – 5th grade participate in our Awana® program. Here, God’s word is instilled in their hearts using a fun, proven approach for early evangelism and discipleship. Awana® Clubs International establishes a welcoming, supportive environment where kids from all backgrounds learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives.
